Hardware

Small tag, safer design

The risk in a pet tag is usually the structure, not the chip. CHUCK TAG starts again from how the tag is worn.

Dual-side slide-on slot

The tag slides onto the collar webbing from both sides and seats directly on the strap. No D-ring, no metal loop in between.

Low profile, snag resistant

Thin against the strap with rounded edges. Less likely to catch on branches or cage mesh, reducing choke and strain risk.

Quick release

Press the side notch to lift it off. Baths, collar changes and vet visits no longer mean taking the whole collar apart.

Food-grade antibacterial UV-resistant silicone

Skin-safe material that resists saliva and rain, and holds up to sunlight without going tacky or fading.

IP67 waterproof

Reads normally after rain, mud and a swim. The chip is encapsulated inside the body, sealed from moisture.

Passive NTAG213

No battery, no charging. A phone close by reads it instantly, and it lasts as long as the tag itself.

Recovery system

The finder installs nothing

A tap opens a web page and recovery takes three steps. The lower the effort, the better the odds.

  1. 01

    Tap to open

A phone near the tag opens a lightweight page. No app, no account.

  2. 02

    Location first

The page invites the finder to share their current location, and the owner receives the coordinates immediately.

  3. 03

    Message fallback

If location is awkward, a short message and contact detail go straight to the owner dashboard.

  4. 04

    Anonymous two-way contact

A virtual number keeps both real numbers hidden. The channel can be closed once the conversation ends.

Two-zone profile

Public rescue zone: photo, name, temperament notes and medical flags, visible to a finder for quick handling.

Private album and video zone: visible only to the owner and people they authorise, never shown on a scan.

What the dashboard does

  • Manage multiple tags, one profile per pet
  • Scan log: time, count, approximate area
  • Freeze a link instantly if the tag is lost
  • Update contact details without a new tag

Privacy and compliance

Only what is needed, deleted on schedule

Privacy is the first question about any recovery product. These are the concrete rules, written to be checked.

No personal data on the chip

The tag carries a unique encrypted ID only — no name, phone, address or medical record. Profiles live on the server and are reached through authorised access.

Location deleted after 7 days

Coordinates reported by a finder are used for that recovery only and removed after 7 days. Scan logs keep only the fields needed for security auditing.

Tamper checks and ID verification

Tags use write protection and unique-ID verification; abnormal rewrites are detected and the link is frozen. Physical cloning cannot be ruled out entirely, so we do not claim it is impossible.

Permissions stay with the owner

Each field is set public or private individually. Sharing can be closed, authorisation revoked and profiles deleted at any time; the link stops working immediately.

Built on GDPR principles

The data controller is the selling entity. Processing is limited to recovery and account management, retention is as stated above, and users can request access, correction and deletion. Contact details are in the footer.

Memory Mode

When they no longer need to come home

One tap switches to memorial mode. The recovery entry closes and the profile becomes a digital memorial: photos, videos, notes and dates stay, visible only to those you authorise.

  • The profile structure stays, nothing is dropped
  • The memorial page remains accessible, with no promotion
  • The tag can be unbound and reused for the next pet
  • You can switch back to recovery mode at any time

We do not promise "stored forever". Retention and export follow the terms for your region.

Models

Choose by build and coat, not by looks

On the same collar, tag size and slot tension decide how safely it sits.

FAQ

Seven questions before buying

How does it work without a battery?

The chip holds no power of its own. The phone's field powers it at close range, the chip returns its unique ID, and the page opens the matching profile. Nothing to charge, nothing to run flat.

Does the finder need an app?

No. The tap opens an ordinary web page, with no download and no sign-up. Android and recent iPhones read it directly.

Does it expose the owner's location?

No. Location is reported by the finder for that recovery; the owner's position is never read. Reported coordinates are deleted after 7 days.

What is stored on the tag?

One unique encrypted ID. Names, phone numbers and medical records sit in the server profile, and the ID itself carries no personal content.

Can it stay on for baths, swimming and rain?

IP67: brief immersion and rain do not affect reading. Long soaks in chlorinated or sea water are not recommended; rinse with fresh water and dry after.

What happens when a pet passes away?

Turn on Memory Mode. The profile becomes a digital memorial with content kept. The tag can be unbound and paired with the next pet.

What if the tag is lost?

Freeze the link from the dashboard and the old tag stops working immediately. Pair a replacement and the profile and history carry over.
